SQN Banking Systems Releases New Dashboard Module, Provides Real-time, Relevant Performance Information
October 19, 2010 -Rancocas, N.J.-based SQN Banking Systems , a leading provider of integrated fraud detection and process improvement products for the financial industry, today announced from the 2010 BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo that they have developed a Dashboard Module to monitor real-time activities and productivity of both the system and its operators. This tool complements SQN Banking Systems' SENTRY suite of fraud detection software.
"The Dashboard Module is designed as both a real-time user activity monitor and effective fraud detection tool. It is a frontline method of evaluating fraud ratings assigned to items throughout the day while analyzing the trend of user activity on the system," said Stan Jaslar, chief technology officer for SQN. "The module's graphic interface shows productivity levels to both system users and supervisors per workstation, enabling a supervisor to observe an up-to-date measurement of the number of items processed with a possible fraud rating."
The user-friendly interface is organized into gauges to show a variety of information based on need and preference that can include exceptions, performance and risk overviews. As a workflow efficiency monitor, Dashboard enables operations staff to better manage their workload, identify items processed, items remaining and what classification the items were given. As a fraud detection device, an operator makes decisions on various items with possible fraud, which Dashboard reflects. The gauges fluctuate to show real-time activity and final results.
Both workstation users and supervisors can use Dashboard as a reporting tool to optimize performance and detect fraud at the earliest point of presentment; increasing the awareness of potential fraud plus the ability to track items with a possible fraud rating before they are processed. Through the Dashboard Module, the client application polls performance at regular intervals, providing an updated display of both the individual workstation, as well as the system as a whole in an easy to navigate snapshot. Jaslar continues, "Now more than ever, financial institutions, particularly front-line employees, need on-demand solutions that offer a snapshot of risk and potential fraud in relation to overall transaction volume. The innovative technology in the Dashboard Module helps these employees become confident risk managers."
